Welcome Back Kieran ! Just in time to pick up your Competition Trophy? but still have to win into the Grand Final! The first Final Saw Tim Welchman's "Queen of Hearts" have the last laugh over "The Jokers". Although Gavin Matheson pulled out all the stops in a hard hitting Division 1 Singles he went down 4 to 6 against Tim. Rony Kuruvilla continues with some strong and invisible Tennis and came home with a solid win over Michael Valentine 6-4. Another improving performance by young gun Jaxon Matheson got the Jokers back up a few notches winning his singles 6-4 and backing this result with Michael Valantine 6-4. In the end the "Queen of Hearts were too strong and they are the 1st team in the Grand Final. Will they Play Tony McTaggart's "Jack of Clubs" or will they meet "Kieran's" Ace of Spade. All this will play out this Thursday!

SEMI FINALS will Start this Thursday 27th August 6-30pm. Players Please all be on Time with "Queen of Hearts" V's "Jokers" Those line up for the Premiers are Tim Welchman Div 1, Rony Kuruvilla Div 2, Eric Churcher Div 3, Emilia Kuruvilla Div 4 and they line up against Gavin Matheson, Michael Valantine, Raj Swamy and Jaxon Matheson. Should be a Great Semi ! It is a First in club History, where a Father and Daughter has lined up against a Father & Son in a Semi Final !

Challenging Times on and off the Court! The Muswellbrook Olympic Park Grandstand Construction has Commenced. Tennis members are asked to be patient with these disruption, which will intially see us loose access to half of our facility! The Current Thursday Night Comp will be effected, but be assured the club will be making ever effort to limit the inconvenience! Muswellbrook Shire and the Contractors are also doing what they can do to keep Tennis up and running!

The Club House Renovations & Painting is progressing well! Celebrity Painter "David Dowel" swapped his Paint Brush and Roller to give a few few Tips "Painting is not that much different to Tennis" he said "make sure you have a firm grip, A nice even Stroke and you follow through" Dave demonstrated on the Court and pretty well "cleaned up" all his opposition! His keen eye was evident, and really "Brushed through" his strokes!
