💫What does it mean to work with the Goddess?💫
For me, working with the Goddess has never been about giving my power away to something outside of myself.
It is about connection.
Connection with the Divine.
Connection with ancient stories and wisdom.
Connection with nature and its cycles.
And perhaps most importantly, connection with the many parts of ourselves.
🔥There are times in our lives when we may find ourselves standing at a crossroads, and the wisdom of Hekate could speak to us.
🥀Times when something has ended and we find ourselves walking through our own underworld, where we may understand Persephone in an entirely different way.
🗡️Times when Kali reminds us that sometimes destruction is necessary before something new can be created.
🌸and times when Aphrodite calls us back to love, pleasure, beauty and our own inherent worth.
I don’t believe there is one correct way to understand the Goddess.
You may experience her as a deity, an archetype, an expression of the Divine, an aspect of Source, an energy within yourself — or something you are still exploring.
There is room for all of it.
Over the coming weeks, I’m going to be sharing more about the Goddesses, their stories and archetypes, and what their ancient wisdom can teach us about our very modern lives.
Perhaps along the way, you’ll discover one who speaks to something within you.
