The club was founded in 1937 and affiliated with Swimming NSW in 1938, and is one on the longest running sporting clubs in the Tweed Valley.

We might be a small club but there were plenty of trophies to hand out at tonight’s presentation and AGM.

A huge thanks to all our outstanding swimmers who turned up every week (even when the water was freezing) and tried to improve your times. You never ceased to amaze us with your enthusiasm! We had lots of achievements this season, PB’s every week, swimmers moving divisions and having great successes in local, school and state events. We’re looking forward to seeing more success for you all next season.

A club like ours doesn’t run without volunteers to put their hands up each Monday night to time keep, start races, put chairs out, and so on and so on. We are so grateful to have families who all get involved and never fail to step forward to help. Thank you so much.

Watch out for more swimming news coming your way over the coming months until the new season starts straight after the September school holiday break.

It’s finally here!!!! Club members and their families are invited to the 2026 Presentation night and AGM. The kitchen at the Services Club opens at 5.30pm if you would like to purchase dinner for the family, then we get to celebrate the achievements of our swimmers and have a chat about the club. We hope to see you there.

Shoutout to these kids from MSC - we might be small but our kids are mighty!!! Charlie, Abigail, Tilly, Naite, Ned and Kobi were all Age Champions at their school carnivals earlier in the term. Kobi went on to take Age Champions at District and Charli, Tilly and Ned are competing at Kempsey this week. The way you’ve cheered each other and your competitors on has shown what amazing sportspeople and really great humans you all are. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There is no Swim Club tonight - the pool is unavailable due to a school carnival.

Watch some snowboarding or ice skating instead!

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ NEWS JUST IN!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This champion represented Murwillumbah Swimming Club today in Casino.

Ned H competed in the 50m Backstroke and the 50m Breaststroke. He swam his way to 3rd place in both events and is bringing home medals to prove it!!!
Congratulations Ned - can’t wait to see your medals at swim club on Monday.

HUGE SHOUTOUTS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tilly H, Ned H and Kobi R competed in Lismore on the 15th of October and had an amazing meet!

Tilly had a huge day and swam in the following:
7th in 50m Freestyle
6th in 200m Freestyle
6th in 50m Breastroke
4th in 50m Backstroke
6th in 200m Individual Medley
and a 2nd place in 100m Breaststroke!!

Ned swam the 50m Breaststroke and came in 4th place.

Kobi R also had a successful day in the pool:
3rd in 50m Backstroke
3rd in 50m Freestyle
5th in 50m Breaststroke

Wowsers!!!!! What a big day that must have been - well done to all of you superstars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Also - big thanks to the families who go along with their swimmers to support them. 👏👏👏

Remember - Monday nights are swim club nights!!!
We had a small but determined group of swimmers last week - the water was still pretty chilly so there were a few sets of chattery teeth 🥶 So nice to see old faces return and getting to meet new faces.

⭐️ ⭐️ Division Promotions

Naite C worked all last season on improving his times and came within a sneeze of moving up to Div 2 in both backstroke and freestyle. His hard work paid off in Freestyle and he starts the season in Div 2.
Well done Naite!

Tilly H has returned this season shaving a whopping 5.73 seconds off her Breastroke time so moves to Div 1! Awesome stuff Tilly!

New swimmers Noah B and Kobi R have moved into Div 2 - Noah for Backstroke and Kobi for Butterfly. Nice work for your first night boys!

Don forget to bring extra towels and something warm - the water is still a wee bit on the cold side, although we are expecting a very hot day so who knows?

After trying to marshall for a race, our newest swimmers decided it looked waaaay too far to swim so marched off with their mum and dad racing after them.
Thanks to everyone who came for our first night back, and swam, took a timekeeping board, or cheered on the kids. Swimmers looked a slight shade of blue by the end of the night and the sound of chattering teeth could be heard around the pool deck. It didn’t stop everyone having a go which was awesome!
