Attention: Female Pathway Information Evening - 11th February 2026

Gold Coast District Cricket Club are hosting a Female Pathway Information Evening. This evening is designed to provide clarity and education around the female cricket pathway and help players make informed decisions about their development.

What the session will cover:

The difference between community cricket and premier cricket.

School sport vs club cricket – how they work together but different.

The female pathway to Queensland/ NSW selection (U16, U19, Queensland Fire & Brisbane Heat) and progression through to Australian representation.

Our key goals are to:

Encourage girls to stay engaged at their current local club for longer.

Provide clear, accurate information about the pathway process, expectations and timelines

The session is suitable for players at all stages of their cricket journey (U10’s, GHB, U12's, U13's, Open Juniors through to Ladies) and we strongly encourage parents to attend so they can better understand how the pathway works and how best to support their daughters.
