[IMPORTANT] Transponder Chips

As the club now has a new timing system all competing Senior, Intermediate and Aquabike members will need to purchase a new transponder chip, the cost of which is $20.00. However, this amount will be refunded when the member no longer needs the chip.

Please have $20.00 in cash when you come to pay for your chip as the club doesn't have the facility to pay by card.
You can pay the first time you come to compete.
If you want to pay before that TVT will have a presence at the pool on Sunday 20th September between 11:00am and 1:00pm.

The club's young Trimite members do not need to purchase a transponder chip.

This was my wife's bike and was raced competitively, including Battle on the Border podiums and local cycle club racing. It was retired from regular use in 2020 and has been stored indoors in the garage since.
A genuinely light, responsive race bike that climbs and accelerates beautifully.

Size 52 – suited to approximately 160–170 cm rider height. My wife is 163 cm and the bike fitted her very well.

[REMINDER] The Annual General Meeting of Tweed Valley Triathletes Incorporated will be held on Wednesday 26th August at the Anglican Church, Byangum Rd Murwillumbah, commencing at 6:45pm. A general meeting will commence immediately following the AGM. All members are welcome to attend.

NOTE
During the 25/26 season meetings of the club were poorly attended. For the club to function effectively it needs the involvement of more than just a few people. Members are urged to be more involved in the decision making processes and the running of the club.

Tweed Valley Triathletes has a new timing system that, hopefully, will be up and running from the beginning of the club's season on 26th September.

To become acquainted with how the system is set up and works a demonstration session has been organised for Saturday 15th August at 8:00am. The venue is the area the club uses for its events on Saturday mornings just outside the pool area.

The club invites those interested to come along to learn a bit about how the system operates.

It is important for the future of the club to have more people that are familiar with our timing system so that it not so reliant on just one or two individuals to keep the whole thing going.
