A lot of laughs (and some great rallies) could be heard around the courts this morning 🎾

We had a great group of girls out hitting with Jorge, and it was a perfect reminder of how important the social side of tennis is at this age. When there’s a good group around you, it’s not just about drills and matches, it’s about having fun, building friendships, and actually wanting to keep coming back!

Awesome to see all our junior teams out competing and representing the club this season! 🎾

We are at the halfway mark and every team has been putting in the effort week in, week out. It’s great to see the progress and teamwork on display across the board.

The ladders are starting to take shape, but there’s still plenty of tennis left to play with lots of opportunities ahead for everyone.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have the support of Community Bank Murrumbeena behind our club 🎾

Their sponsorship has helped fund new uniforms for our competition players and contributed to a range of improvements around the club - from the TV and aerial install, to new signage out the front, landscaping and plants, and even new fibreglass doors.

These upgrades make a real difference and help create a welcoming, high-quality environment for everyone who walks through the gates.

Congratulations to Tomas Albani and Aidan Tan!

A huge well done to Tomas who took out the win and Aidan the runners-up at the Rye U14 Labour Day Tournament!

Both boys are key members of our Junior Section 1 team and it’s fantastic to see their hard work and dedication paying off.

Having two Murrumbeena players in the final is an amazing result for the club, and we couldn’t be prouder of both boys! 👏🏻

Well done to our Sunday Junior Spring Section 14 team - RUNNERS UP!
Over the weekend, the team were defeated by Lauriston in a tight match - 4:32 to 2:29. Section 14 had a fantastic season on top of the ladder for the most part. Well done boys! 👏🏻

Today we celebrated another fabulous year at the club!

The spring junior comp season has now come to an end - with 5 out of our 7 junior teams qualifying for finals. Of these 5 teams, 3 made it through to the grand final and today, Section 2 came away with the premiership! Congratulations Section 2!

And how about our new courts! They’re looking fresh after the resurfacing, and we hope you’re enjoying fewer washouts and the smoother, more consistent play!

It was great to see so many of our members out on the courts on this beautiful sunny day!
