It’s a big one in Germany this weekend at the Lotto Thüringen Women Cycling Challenge one day race.

We’ll race over a selective 131km course in the Pro race against some of the world’s best riders. The 10km finishing circuits will be super exciting racing as the team seeks to build on a pretty incredible first 3 months in Europe.

Racing and travelling takes its toll, so we’ll be down a couple of riders for this weekend, but if we lack anything in numbers Amelie, Georgia, Mia and Kirsty will make up for with determination and grit.

Ava Maddison conjured up a great breakaway for Meridian Bikebug at today’s Stage 2 of the .tfp Tour Féminin des Pyrénées.

Making the move with 50km to go Ava snuck off and managed to reel in another breakaway rider and nearly caught to leader just as the peloton closed to contest the final climb before a technical sprint in town.

A great down out for he team with .wattsnz landing P29 and at P44. came through with the front bunch ahead of tomorrow’s climb up the Col du Tourmalet.

Meridian Bikebug make the trip south to the French Pyrenees this week to race a Pro Level stage race. If racing up the Tourmalet is not challenging enough, we will be lining up against a world class peloton.

The week is about the high mountains and offers our climbers a chance to measure progress. Watch this live on VPN and cheer on Inez and Hannah along with their supporting crew heading high 🏔️

Bretagne Ladies Tour was a break through for the team. ._ securing her another 1.1 top ten for the year, getting in a threatening 35km breakaway of two in Stage 3 and and working hard at the team plan. Two unscheduled crash (moto and fan !!) and .wattsnz pulling the on 20km into stage one with illness also challenged the team.

Everyone of these athletes is progressing and the team has been on the front foot.

Next stop Dwars door de Westhoek this Sunday.
