🎉 **What a way to wrap up our 2025/26 Stormers season!** 🎉
Our final Wednesday session on 18 March was packed with energy, smiles and plenty of friendly competition.
💛 Our tiny tots had an absolute ball, finishing their season with loads of fun and laughter — such a joy to watch them grow each week.
💙 Our main group of athletes took on a special end‑of‑season program of events, all building up to the much‑loved (and highly competitive!) **4 x 400m mixed relay**. And what a race it was.
This year’s relay featured:
- Athletes from *every* age group
- Family teams
- Coaches, exec members and parents jumping in
- Senior athletes trying to assemble the ultimate dream team
It was fast, it was loud, it was hilarious — and thankfully, **injury‑free**.
🏆 Congratulations to this year’s winning team:
President Dave, Vice‑President Karl, Age Manager Franc, and Ash — who returned to defend his crown after being part of the winning team two years ago. They had to dig deep to hold off our lightning‑quick Stormers athletes, but they’ve earned bragging rights for the season!
🌭 A huge thank you to the Murrumbateman Pump Track Committee for sponsoring our BBQ so every family could enjoy a free sausage sandwich. Such a generous contribution to our final night.
🙏 And as always, an enormous thank you to our volunteers and parents who show up week after week to make Stormers the welcoming, well‑run, joyful club that it is. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
