A post to thank all of our valued dance families for your support on concert day, setting up or packing down at the end of the night 🙌🏼
There were so many roles that were covered - and ultimately it helped our double show concert day to run smoothly and on schedule
• Setting up the Friday night before. Setting out chairs in theatre, blue tacking QR concert programs to chairs, sticking aisle signs to ends of every row, setting up foyer with raffle desk prizes and decoration plus signage all around the venue. Prepping canteen. Staff setting up dressing rooms backstage. An 8pm finish for our staff leaving which would have been much later without the help of our lovely dance family
Concert Day 👇🏼
• Ushering guests to help them find student check in, theatre line up, raffle, canteen, toilets etc and to find their seats once inside the theatre
• Scanning in concert tickets for both shows
• Canteen volunteers helping to serve drinks and snacks throughout the day
• Raffle sales volunteers helping boost fundraising for our much needed studio equipment
• Dressing room helpers (such a huge job!) keeping high energy students settled backstage until their turn to dance, helping with toilet trips and helping to tidy up after each show
• Volunteers supervising students outside during the half time break between shows
• Stage runners - going back and forth to keep students on track
• Social media superstars capturing the magic behind the scenes to share with you all on the day
• Volunteers checking in students or checking out - making sure all were accounted for
• Clean up crew inbetween shows helping to re set for the next round!
• Volunteers stepping in wherever needed without hesitation
• Clean up and packing cars at the end of concert night. There is so much equipment that gets carted to concert venue and almost as much to still take back home. Thankyou for making it quick for staff to leave by 7.30pm after a 6pm finish for our evening show
Our gratitude is HUGE! We want to let you know much we appreciate everyone stepping in and supporting our dance studio as we grow. Being the first ever time we have asked all families to lend a small hand, we are really impressed and hope that the day was smooth and enjoyable for all 🩷🙌🏼
Amy Perren Photography should have her gallery of professional photos ready to share in the next day or two - she is a fire cracker 📸 These photos are at no cost to dance families and are a Thankyou from myself for your efforts
Videographer Gypsy should have the edited concert videos of both shows ready in approximately 2 weeks 🎥 Reminder student concert fees must be paid to receive link to concert movie
Much love,
Miss Sharni 🤍
