Volleyball North Brisbane

Hola amigos!

We are going to try and establish a volleyball game in the upcoming weeks.

Due to a few personal matters, we haven't held a game since April-ish?, however; we're back baby and ready to rumble 💪😜👊

First things first, we need enough people to host a practice game - 4 aside at the very least.

Historically, we hosted a practice game with 3 aside... it was manageable, however; for first timers, it was extremely testing and challenging for them.

As advised previously, all levels are welcome. This isn't the championship league and we're not an establishment... We are merely trying to host a game once a week for those wanting to meet new people, learn a new sport, have a laugh and get amongst it.

All ages (kids as well), fitness levels, skillzzz, genders, families etc are welcome - all that we ask is, you're not aggressive and that you're respectful and patient towards those that will be first timers. Abusive, chastising or any other types of crappy/inappropriate behaviour won't be tolerated. A bit of healthy competition banter is aight tho ;)

Alrighty then, enough with the novel and let's get some numbers happenin!!! YEW

Wednesday 14th April 6;30pm
Friday 16th April 6pm

I'm not playing favourites; however there were a few stand outs during tonights game......

Me, me and me.... hands down, I did really well... others may object ;) hahaha just joking, each to their own tho ;) eh eh eh.

It was a bloodbath tonight so kudos to those who stuck around, held their own and coped it on the chin... you're an inspiration to us all....

Next week we'll replicate tonight to some degree, getting to know the rules, practicing hit's, serves etc...

Super special shout out to Kazza aka Karen Grandez. you were the underdog and going forward will always be on my team.. ;)
