🌟Congratulations Emily Hurford 200 Senior Games this Saturday v Mannum. On court 1 @12:30pm.🌟
Emily begun her netball career before she was even born, spending the 1992 A Grade season womb-side. Sadly, even with an extra player on court, the team couldn't quite get the premiership!
Once earth-side, Emily spent countless hours around the courts developing the smart, adaptable style of play she is known for today. She progressed through the junior grades, collecting several premierships along the way, and by age 15 was playing Under 15 Division 1 while also earning regular court time in A Reserves.
A strong and clever goaler, Emily is known for holding her position, making the most of limited space, and consistently outmanoeuvring opponents—often much taller than her—to gain prime position under the ring. Her game is built on skill, timing, strength, and netball smarts.
Emily’s contribution extends far beyond playing. Over the years she has served as President, Secretary, Coach, Umpire, Committee Member, and Life Member, demonstrating an incredible commitment to the club both on and off the court.
Congratulations, Emily, on this fantastic milestone and thank you for everything you have contributed to our club. 🎉🏐👏 🐓
