Murrabit Lawn Tennis Club Tennis Club We play tennis during from October to March each year in the Northern District Lawn Tennis Association.

We have an Easter tennis Tournament every year over the easter long weekend with a day of Singles, Doubles and Mixed doubles. The competition is open to everyone to come play we have three senior divisions and two junior divisions, the event is a round robin with winners and runner up trophies $12 per adult racquet and $8 per junior racquet with morning & afternoon tea supplied, lunch and drinks at bar prices.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
Over the Easter weekend, we officially closed the season and presented our 2026 Singles Club Champions.

Congratulations to our Club Champions
Mens - Simon Morton
Ladies - Sally McDonald
Junior Boy - Evan McNeil
Junior Girl - Eliza McDonald

In the finals, Simon defeated Shaun Davey, Sally had a great battle against Carolyn Nixon, Evan was able to get the win over his brother Drew, and Lizey was too strong for Charlotte Keath. Some great matches were played throughout the Championships during February. Congratulations to all those who participated.

A massive thank you to our committee on running another successful Easter tournament.
The Murrabit Tennis Club and our Easter tournament is fully run by club volunteers. We do all our own greenskeeping and maintenance, getting the beautiful grass courts looking like they do. The tournament administration, marketing, entries and playing schedules and all the catering is done in-house by our amazing team.
We only have a small group, but all hands are on deck and I wish to thank every MLTC member for your work and support.

JUNIOR COACHING BREAK-UP and CHRISTMAS PIZZA PARTY.

Last night was a great night at then tennis club. We had our last week of junior coaching and the children were presented with certificates and lollies for all the hard work that they have put in this year.
Thank you to our coaches Shaun Davey , Sally McDonald and Belle Morton for your time, effort, patience and skills you have given to the kids.
Thank you to all the parents for supporting your children, bringing them along each week and for helping out.
A massive thank you to Sara, Tim, Jodie and Dale for cooking the pizzas. They were absolutely delicious. The pizza maker, cheese and bases was very generously supplied by Fonterra and enjoyed by all.
