We are underway on the south wicket at Murdoch! New retic is currently being designed and the subbase is being levelled ahead of installing a layer of drainage fabric followed by the clay. A month or so after the clay, the turf will be laid.

This project is part of the WA Government’s PlayOn WA, an exciting initiative to deliver 2,030 community infrastructure items across WA by 2030. MUMCC thanks , member for Bibra Lake, and , for facilitating this project and getting our 3rd and 4th XIs back on turf.

Yet another 18th birthday today with Jude Strachan finally getting to bin his McLovin ID. Jude has already racked up 34 league games and 16 Colts games with 59 wickets, and has already been involved in two premierships.

We promised and now we've delivered! Next season we'll be moving to a flat rate system and slashing everyone's fees by 33-51%.

Standard rate members will make a one-off $500 payment, while full time students and life members will pay $400. That includes all Saturday and Sunday cricket as well as teas and means at the very least you'll be paying 33% less for a full season.

Under 21s will also get free teas and remain FREE OF CHARGE.

If you were an U21 at MUMCC last season who played more than a handful of games, check your emails as the Colts Off-Season Coaching Program kicks off again shortly. A very happy 18th birthday today to Kai Marsh! Kai already has 47 league games under his belt to go with 17 Sunday Colts/T20 games, and has racked up 78 poles, a premiership and two Club bowling awards.
