This is a letter I hoped I would never have to write.

In January 2017 I opened Miss Vics with just 24 students, over the past eight years I have had the privilege of teaching more than 600 kids in my small backyard swim school.

Four months ago, I suffered a serious head injury, and although I’ve worked hard on my recovery, the long‑term effects are more significant than I first hoped.

So it is with a very heavy heart that I have made the decision to close Miss Vics Swim School indefinitely.

I don’t yet know what the future looks like. I remain hopeful that one day I may be able to reopen.

Many of you started as clients and became friends, and I am deeply grateful for the trust you placed in me and for allowing me to be part of your children’s swimming journey.
