Club Mulwala Outdoor Bowls
Another great start to the week with fine weather and good bowls.
Social:
Tuesday 2nd July saw a growing number of bowlers, including members and visitors, on the green, once again good Yarrawonga autumn conditions for the afternoon play.
Some very good teams were drawn which meant very competitive bowls.
Winners on the day were Jack Jarden and Marg Pretty, runners up were Sam Smith and visitor Laurie Cameron, well done to all bowlers, and thanks to Jan and Nola for their hard work.
The jackpot did not go off.
Remember Social bowls are on each Tuesday at 12.30, sheets are on the notice board behind the escalators, format will always be determined by the number of bowlers on the day.
Visitors and single entries are always welcome.
Sunday
Sunday 7th July saw VRI once again join us on the green, this was a morning of social bowls with no winners or losers, just a fun game of bowls with a group of bowlers from VRI who visit each year and club members.
Sheet is on the board for next week, remember bowls begin at 12.30, names in by 11.00am please, 2-4-2 nominate your team, however single entries are also accepted.
Pennant :
We know the season is still a long way away, however forward planning is underway, lists are on the board for those members wishing to play pennant to put their names down.

Club Mulwala Outdoor Bowls
A great start to the week with fine weather and good bowls.
Social:
Tuesday 25th June saw number of bowlers on the green again good typical Yarrawonga autumn conditions for the afternoon play.
Some very good teams were drawn which meant very competitive bowls and reasonably low
scores were the order of the day, a couple of games were drawn and only one two game winners.
Winners on the day were Barry Pitt and Cliff Morton, runners up were Doug Chessum, Jan Morton, and Mike O’Farrell.
The jackpot did not go off.
Remember Social bowls are on each Tuesday at 12.30, sheets are on the notice board behind the escalators, format will always be determined by the number of bowlers on the day.

Sunday
Uncertainty with the weather meant Sunday bowls were call off.

Club Mulwala Outdoor Bowls
This report covers the last two weeks of activity at our club, unfortunately last week’s report
did not make the paper.
The weather has been typical Yarrawonga/Mulwala with a little rain, frost, fog, and plenty of
sunshine.
Social:
Tuesday 11th June saw 26 bowlers again take to the green early fog cleared to produce typical Yarrawonga autumn conditions for the afternoon play.
Once again some very close games and a couple not so close but plenty of good banter from all rinks.
Winners on the day were Jack Jarden and Anita Albert, runners up were Daryl Dighton and Graham Albert
The jackpot did not go off.
Tuesday 18th June again saw a good number of players on the green, unfortunately only one game could be completed before the rain came, winners were, Malcolm Miller and Jan Morton, runners up were Kerry Merrett and Cliff Morton.
The jackpot did not go off.

Sunday
Sunday 16th June saw our Sunday bowls back, in the 2-4-2 format, a good turnout considering the early morning rain, however the afternoon was like a spring day, winners were John Thurling and Graeme Arnold, runners up Daryl Dighton and Graham Albert.
The jackpot did not go off.
Sunday 23rd June saw another good turnout in fine but cold conditions, winners were Graeme Arnold and Judy Laughlin on countback from Bev and Phil Norwood, runners up were visitors from Broadford, Laurie and Helen Barnes.

Club Mulwala Outdoor Bowls
Another reasonably quiet week on the greens, but it will get busier after the long weekend
when social bowls will be held on both Tuesday and Sunday, keep an eye on the notice board
for details.
Social:
Last Tuesday saw 26 bowlers again take to the green in cool but good conditions, with a large number of visitors joining our regular members.
Some very close games and a couple not so close but plenty of good banter from all rinks.
Winners on the day were Pam Dodman and Graham Albert, runners up were Barry Pitt and Jan Morton.
Dodi and his partner took out the jackpot.
