Running has heaps of benefits, and challenges.
And of course I understand some people have specific injuries that prevent it.
Here’s my two cents.

The Y E T series: a wonderful mix of vulnerability and education. Our wonderful instructors at Esprit aren’t A.I. 😆 we are real people, with real strengths and real weaknesses. We continue to work on our body goals everyday. With Polestar Pilates education as our guide we follow the method and are still students ourselves.
We make it look ‘easy’ because we have had countless hours practicing that one exercise until it becomes ‘unconsciously competant’ and embedded into our bodies natural movement pattern.
In this series you will see our instructor’s vulnerabilities and what they are currently working on in their personal sessions. ‘Pilates isn’t magic, it’s practice.’

Most people focus on the injury itself, the muscle, the joint, the tissue. But healing doesn't happen in isolation. It depends on circulation, fluid movement, and the body's ability to clear out waste and deliver nutrients to where they're needed most. That's the lymphatic system's job.

When it's sluggish, recovery slows down. Swelling lingers. Inflammation sticks around. The body is trying to heal but it's working through a backlog it can't quite clear.
