What a season it’s been for our junior Black Swans — full of hard work, teamwork, improvement, friendships and plenty of great football.

⚽ Football rules shouldn’t be hard to find.

Mulgoa Valley Football Club has partnered with Aiden Solutions to make rules and regulations easier for players, parents, coaches, managers and volunteers to access when they actually need them.

Instead of digging through PDFs, searching websites or trying to work out which rule applies, members can simply Ask Aiden.

Ask a question in plain English and get an answer based on the relevant football rules and regulations — in seconds.

Questions like:

Can a player play for two teams on the same weekend?
What happens if a match is washed out?
What are the substitution rules?
Is a player eligible to play?
What happens in this particular situation?

For a volunteer-run club, the benefit is simple: less time searching, fewer repeated questions and easier access to the information people need.

For Aiden Solutions, it is also a great example of what we believe AI should actually be used for.

Not replacing people.

Not adding another complicated piece of software.

But taking the information an organisation already has and making it instantly accessible to the people who need it.

This same approach can work across sporting clubs, associations, businesses and organisations with policies, manuals, procedures, technical information or internal knowledge.

We thank each of you for stepping up and supporting your team as a Marshal for the 2026
season. Your willingness to take on this responsibility makes a meaningful difference,
contributing to a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all involved.
To support you in your role, the association has created a training program. This is mandatory
training and must be completed before 12 April. This will ensure everyone is confident,
prepared, and aligned with the expectations of the Marshal role for the season ahead.
