Happy 90th birthday to our gorgeous member, Jay Moore. Mudgee Ladies celebrated her birthday with a special cake and the presentation of a commemorative medal from NSW Veterans Golf. May you have many more birthdays and keep enjoying your golf, Jay.

What fantastic golfing yesterday by Kay Gaffney to shoot a hole-in-one on the 7th and follow it up later with an eagle on the 14th in our 27 hole Rosebowl. From the cheers that were heard all over the course, it was hard to work out who was more excited- Kay or her playing partners. Well done to Kay and the green ball!!!

Congratulations to our Pennants team for a wonderful win over Dubbo in the Western Districts Ladies final today. The victorious team members were Carol Cockerill-Wright, Jenny Tribe, Nam
Slade, Vicki Stathopoulos and Shelly Barnett.

As the Golf Club will be closed tonight, they will be celebrating at the Oriental Hotel (one of the generous sponsors of Mudgee Ladies Golf) from 6.30 this evening with all interested supporters.

Due to a wake at the Golf Club on Wednesday 27 October, the date for the Ladies AGM has been changed.

It will now be held on Wednesday 3rd November at 2.00 pm.

Helen Rhodes won today’s Shootout, so becoming the 23rd winner of this great event. Eleven players teed off on Hole 1, with one eliminated in each hole until Cathy Cox and Helen Rhodes remained on the 10th. Helen eventually won with a “putt off”, finishing closer to the hole than her opponent.
