💛🖤 Week 2 - Results 🖤💛
Another great weekend of games in the M-League.
Game of the round was between Green and Maroon. Both teams had won in the first week and they came together here in a high quality clash, with neither side giving any ground. A 1-1 draw seemed a fair result, although Richie was seen explaining the rules to the referee after the game.
Two other team who won on the first week also met as Orange played Stripes. Orange certainly did not have it all their own way, but they did come out with a 3-1 victory that puts them on top of the ladder.
The other two games were not as close but were still good games. Blue and Black got their seasons up and running with wins over White and Yellow who are still waiting to taste victory.
Our thoughts go out to Dave from White who had a nasty head clash and needed 7 stiches. He is recovering well and was heard to say, "its ok, chicks dig scars".
We have had a number of new players register and we still have a few more spaces if others want to come join the fun.
We will have to keep an eye on this rain, as it is threatening to scupper training and the games on Saturday. But please keep an eye on this page and in your team chats for updates.
