Today’s Top 5 Moving Cards from Japan’s New “Abyss Eye” Set 👁️🌑
Today’s Japan Darkrai / Abyss Eye Top 5 is looking very interesting for overseas collectors.
Abyss Eye has a darker, more mysterious feel, and cards connected to Darkrai often stand out because of their unique artwork, collector mood, and strong display appeal. This top five has a nice mix of high-end chase cards, character cards, AR artwork, and more accessible picks.
#1 Mega Darkrai ex SAR
Listed around ¥68,999
A clear chase card from Abyss Eye with strong dark artwork and premium SAR appeal. For collectors who like centerpiece cards, this one may be worth watching closely.
#2 Goldeen AR
Listed around ¥1,000
AR cards can be interesting because they offer strong artwork at an approachable price. This could appeal to collectors who enjoy building set pages without only chasing high-end cards.
#3 Muku SAR
Listed around ¥14,999
Trainer SAR cards often carry collector appeal beyond playability. The character artwork and rarity may make this one interesting for both set collectors and character-focused collectors.
#4 Misty’s Vitality SR
Listed around ¥4,444
Misty-related cards tend to attract attention because of long-running character popularity. This SR may be a more approachable way for collectors to follow Abyss Eye’s trainer side.
#5 Morpeko ex SAR
Listed around ¥6,500
Morpeko has a distinct character identity, and SAR artwork can make it feel more collectible. This one may appeal to collectors looking for personality-driven cards from the set.

Japanese vs English
Japanese is by far better quality and will eventually catch up or go past the English version

Japanese vs. English prices in regards to the Glory of Team Rocket and Destined Rivals. It also amazes me how Japanese mid-tier and English mid-tier are so close in price and then for the top chase cards there is nearly a 50% difference in price.

Japanese is a great play long term to keep raw, graded, you are better off investing a little more in to a English graded. Multipliers are typically under 2x for Japanese where they are usually 3-4x for top tier English copies.

Population and print quality are what play the biggest parts in those differences.
