The inaugural Bruce Kendrick Tournament was held yesterday. This was a club member only tournament and was great fun. Bruce arrived in Byron’s super vintage car and then played his usual good game of bowls, playing 10 ends in both the morning and afternoon.
Michelle made another birthday cake which was enjoyed by all.
The winners of the day were Richard, Jody and Fui.

Our Club was happy to see Matt Fregon visiting, and having a look at the new bowling arms our Club was able to purchase with a State Government grant.

Presentation Lunch on Saturday 18th saw our Night Pennant players celebrated for there championship win and the organisers recognised for 11 years service.

The final was held today between the Team of Richard Sluggett, Lindsay Markham and Michelle Chan against the team of Mark Bowles, Doug Oldfield and Maisie Tsoi. There was some very good bowls played, a credit to all players and in the end, Richard’s team emerged as the winner with Lindsay and Michelle putting in some lovely bowls.
And it was Michelle's birthday too.

Congratulations to our Side 1 yesterday who defeated Ringwoood 54 points to 45
Best rink was Richard Sluggett, Peter Crellin, Michelle Chan and Damien Marks.
Not such good news for the second side who went down to Mooroolbark 48 to 54.
