Our horses enjoyed their time at our place, it was a great outlook for the racehorses and the foals grew well. They will still have a great place when we eventually sell up because we've always believed even though they're racehorses they need a comfortable quiet routined lifestyle.

It's been a while since I've posted but I have news. After 20 years here we're downsizing. We will still have some horses racing but will be doing it with friends who are like minded in the way they care about horses.

Sadly we're not getting any younger and you know when you've reached the time you need that extra help. We have 2 x two year olds coming through and along with our others it will be manageable.

We were looking for a jockey for Warwick and looked up Lilli Barr and this video came up. To say this is gutsy and she's still riding is fine in my book. She rode Archie on Tuesday, see below.

It's a stunt you'd only see in Hollywood, but this jockey managed to hold onto her horse thanks to the quick thinking of a competitor.
