I have been LOVING my classes with the fabulous Jolan at and reminiscing/remembering the amazing things my body can do - including backbends on waterfalls 😆 so sharing a throwback to 6 years ago when - single and carefree - I made an impromptu decision to go on a yoga retreat to Langkawi. I’m daydreaming of Jolan’s Ubud retreat next year but will I be ready to say bye to Aubrey yet? 🙊

I’ve never been a morning person but lately when the birds wake up and my mind starts racing I’m bounding out of bed. So I’m trying to take it slow and wake up with the day or the sunrise - and they’ve been crap all week 😆 but this morning the magic happened! Maybe I need to bring a reformer up to the balcony 🤔

Recently I saw the beautiful Kate at MM Studio for a mindfulness session … I’ve always really struggled with meditating and switching off my racing mind. Kate has such a calming presence and instantly brought my overactive nervous system down. And it’s the little touches too … I’ve been writing in the thank you book since then to remind myself to breathe and stay present in the moment. If you’re in the mountains or visiting and need some you time, go to Kate - she even gives a scalp massage 🥰

Sometimes to go forward you have to look back …

This was the first reformer I bought back in 2019 on Facebook marketplace for $300. I set it up in a tiny shed (swipe to see the golf clubs in the background 😂).

I parked the account that has all these pics when I opened Studio 2774 but lately have been looking back on how far I’ve come in 5 years. Super proud 🥹

Goal: To be able to do that side plank again!
