Central Sporting Clays - SAFGA Central Branch is a Sporting Clays Club (Clay Target Club). To promote the sport of shooting in a safe and enjoyable environment and at other SAFGA grounds

Central Sporting Clays page was developed to enable the positive promotion of the sport; shooting clays. The page will be used to develop the Central Sporting Clays and SAFGA brands. Also increase our level of support for our very generous Sponsors.

Hello shooters,
Nominations are now open for our September shoot on Sunday 6th. ANY Helpers to setup and pack up the event would be appreciated, working bee nom's will be provided.
The Central's kitchen needs 3 volunteers (male or female)to help on Sunday for approximately 2-3 hours.
Please contact Kate if you have any queries or wish to volunteer.

Today, Central Sporting Clays - SAFGA held their 75 target event, where 9 squads participated. They had lovely blue sky, no rain but a little bit cool, but the targets were great, set by Brian, Michael and Chris. Our kitchen had many away with injuries and away on holidays, I was unsure if we could run a kitchen. With me having chemo and it kicking my t**h big time, the following wonderful peeps stepped up to help. Thank you to Peter and Kym from Torrens Valley who did the fryers, to Isla Foster our table organizer, food runner, to my right hand lady who was constantly all weekend making sure I had taken my meds, "have you had a drink", "go and sit down for a while," Jo Backhouse, thankyou... Most of all to my darling daughter Rebekah Lines who gave up her Sunday and left the grandkids with Owen thank you Owen....(and probably Mark and Michelle Roshiers help) To come and help her mumma. I was gob smacked and in awe by these people who stood up and helped our club. Thanks to Dave Gagnon for keeping the clubroom fire burning to warm the shooters. To Steve Mahoney whose wife made sweets for our shooters..
I know the shooters enjoyed their hot meals.
This ol girl is so greatful, to all .

Today we held our 75 target shoot.. we didn't have presentations today due to computer issues.
I wish to thank my kitchen volunteers.
I would not have been able to run the kitchen without my volunteer staff.
Stella Michael , Nikki Manuel Jo Jo Backhouse , Bea Haverkate ..
Without you our kitchen would not work. I am so blessed to have you with me during this period with our club... The improvements will help our club.thankyou everyone 😃👍😘

Hi shooters,
Just to clarify. Our shoot this weekend 5th July was advertised as a state qualifying shoot in the program. However, Central Branch emailed SAFGA State notifying them on 22nd April that the club would not be hosting that qualifying shoot due to lack of communication.
The club gave State plenty of notice regarding this.
We are dissaponted that you shooters are only being notified 3 days before our shoot.

Hi shooters,
We have opened nominations for our next 75 target shoot on Sunday 5th July.
Anyone who would like to help setup on Sat or cleanup Sunday please drop me a message, you will be given working bee fees
Camping Friday and Saturday at the club available, tea provided on both nights.
Any hassles with nominating let me know.

Hello fellow shooters,
Find attached the results from Central Sporting Clays 75 target event on Sunday.
Congratulations to all the winners. A massive thanks to our sponsor Nutrien Ag Solutions of Kadina, Brad Redeyes-March for the ammo and hats. Thank you to those who hung around for presentation's after the shoot.
The course was setup by our volunteers on Saturday providing some great targets.
Thank you to my helpers in the kitchen Bea, Jo and Isla, your help was appreciated 👍.
To those who reached out and offered help, love, hugs and support it made my day easier.💕🥰
Rhys and Dave thanks for bringing Bea up and taking her home 🏡. 👍🙂

There seems to be some confusion about the date of our April shoot.
Centrals will be shooting on Sunday 12th April, not Easter Sunday.
