Miss World Cup football already? Tasmania’s very own football World Cup tournament is returning to Hobart in early 2027. Get involved!

Tasmania’s first-ever football World Cup tournament is returning to Hobart in January / February 2021! It’s a unique a celebration of football, fun and friendship. A chance to be part of something special and novel. There were 10 ‘national sides’ represented at the inaugural tournament in early-2021:

• Australia
• African side (specific nation TBA)
• China
• Colombia
• England
• Greece
• Holland

• Italy
• Scotland
• Syria

This tournament’s for all social-level footballers, of varying experience levels, to be part of something special and novel. This page is your best source of information for squad, roster and match information. All enquiries to [email protected].

This Sunday we see our Myelin Hobart World Cup SEMI FINALS. With both the Cup and Plate semi finals being played there will be 4 action packed games to enjoy. Come along to Olinda Grove and get around the teams. Kiosk will be OPEN.

Cup Semifinals (OG2):
SF1: The Bahamas vs Malaysia: 1pm
SF2: Greece vs England: 3.30pm

Plate Semifinals (OG1)
SF1: United Africa vs Syria: 1pm
SF2: Vietnam vs Nepal: 3.30pm

With Greece - Hobart World Cup 2024 through to the Cup Semifinals and Team Nepal through to the Plate Semifinals, there are 6 more spots left to fill, who will go through. Super Sunday is coming this week, every game and every point carries big ramifications on each group table.
