Peninsula Paddle Co is located North of Balcombe Creek on the shores of Mt Martha North Beach. The 900 metre long Mount Martha North Beach offers a safe, sandy, swimming beach and is lined by the iconic bathing boxes and has easy access from a car park on the north side of the creek. Mt Martha north beach has very little boat traffic and offers not only a lovely sandy beach but many small reefs in
habited by many species of fish. Just south of Peninsula Paddle Co is Balcombe Creek, with its estuary, this unspoilt waterway was once home to a large camp ground but now is home to many species of flora and fauna, including several that are rare or vulnerable. Balcombe Creek flows through The Briars’ wetlands before emptying into the sea at Mt. Martha beach making it a viable option to explore on Peninsula Paddle CO’s watercraft when the tide permits (high tide). Offering single and double kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards for hire, we have something for everyone. Peninsula Paddle Co is the only licenced watercraft hire operation in Mt Martha.
