Filled with tradition, the Mount Lawley Hawks are recognised as one of the most successful sides in the WA Amateur Football League with a history of club and individual achievements. The Mount Lawley Football Club was incorporated in 1963, recording a premiership in its first year. Since then, the club has won 30 premierships in different divisions, mostly at A grade level. The Mount Lawley Hawks have always been based at Hamer Park in Mount Lawley. In the days of its inception, the Club had a green jumper, which eventually made way for the current red, black and white strip. Throughout the years the Club has endured both good times and bad with its fighting spirit. While many legends have emerged from the Club, everybody that has been involved with the Club has carried the Club ethic of hard work and fun into their personal and work lives.
