The Mount Isa and District Pony Club Inc. are a Zone 25 pony club based in North Western Qld. Founded in the early 1960’s by Steve Donovan; Steve’s son Bill is still an active member of the club. To encourage young people to ride and learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding. To provide instruction in riding and horsemanship and to instil in members the proper care of their animals. To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty; thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline. Objects of Mount Isa & District Pony Club:
The aim of our club is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for all members. We promote good horsemanship, friendship and a supportive environment - we wish for this page to be an extension of these values.
