We are back in action with games and trainings resuming! We’ve also got our player registrations open and working so check the link in our (insta) bio to register as an Eagle.

Where: Eagles’ Sports Complex - Weedon Street, Mansfield
When: Saturday, 0830 - 1230

We’ll be at the fields from 0800 preparing for a ladies’ warm up from 0830. The men’s game will take place after the women’s, but block your calendar out and head down to enjoy a full morning of lacrosse. Cheer, support, and play! 🙌🏻

Training with the Eagles is free; all are welcome to attend and have a run. The club has gear and sticks available, so flick me a message if you’re planning on heading down and need some spares and I’ll coordinate it (provided Mason remembers to get out of bed).

Hey Legends 🥍

We have just been informed that due to some unscheduled field maintenance at UQ this weekend, our scheduled Saturday game has been postponed.

LQ will look to move the game to our scheduled backup games at the end of the first half of the year. So while you might miss out now, it’s not forever…

What does that mean?
- No Games this weekend ( )

The only lacrosse scheduled from now until training on Monday is our regular Social Indoor Lacrosse. And now the excuse of “I’m saving myself for the game” won’t fly {it never did}.

I expect to see you all down there.

When: Friday from 1830

Who: Everyone - young, old, talented, skill-less - it’s fun, it’s social, it’s no-contact, and it’s not at the mercy of the groundskeepers…

Eagles’ Sign On Day tomorrow!!

Come down, have a throw, meet some laxers, and sign up for the year of lacrosse with the Eagles.

We will have our gear, a field booked, and a bunch of merch for sale. Bring your mates!

The saints have let us know, due to some field maintenance, tomorrow’s afternoon game will now take place on Field 8.

It’s a great day for lacrosse, block out your calendar - sign up, warm up, and then we will cruise over to St Lucia and get a win!

Here’s the breakdown for this weekend!

We’ve had a great turnout for Social Indoor this year, so far. Grab your mates and a stick and cruise down to BCISC.

🏆🏆 QLL Field Season - 2026 Game Days 🏆🏆

When: Saturday, from 0830
Where: Home @ Eagles Sports Complex, Mansfield

Saturday will see both a women’s and men’s game. Aim to get there for 0830 where we’ll have our warm up and then kick off the games.

‼️‼️‼️This is a call for support to our Eagles’ community.‼️‼️‼️

The committee recently updated at the 2026 AGM, with almost all the critical positions filled. However, we are looking to fill a mandatory role within the committee.

The Role:
• Secretary – voting member of the committee

Duties of the role (in a nutshell):
• Admin
• Communication
• Support

At BEL, all volunteers (formal or otherwise) are well respected, and there’s no exception for our Club Secretary. You won’t be thrown in the deep end either – the wealth of experience on our committee and the general nature of our volunteers ensures mutual support throughout the year for all roles.

A quick update on the Eagles' schedule heading into the weekend…

🎟️🎟️ Social Indoor Lacrosse 🎟️🎟️

When: Friday night from 1830-1930
Where: Brisbane City Indoor Sports Centre, Coorparoo
Cost: $10 per person

We’re starting to move through the first block for the year and have had consistent attendance the last few sessions. It’s a great opportunity to get a stick in your hands and whip the ball around - regardless of your skill level or age.

Social Indoor is fun, friendly, no-contact lacrosse.

🥅🥅 QLL Field Season - Training 🥅🥅

When: Monday Nights (starting 02 March) from 1830-2000
Where: Eagles Sports Complex, Mansfield

Our {preseason} training is on again Monday 02 March. Men’s and Women’s field lacrosse from 1830 at our home grounds.

Training is free to everyone, reach out if you are thinking of heading down for the first time or need any clarification of what to bring if you want to give the sport a go!

🏆🏆 QLL Field Season - 2026 Game Days 🏆🏆

There’s been some moving and shaking in the LQ committee and we have been notified of a last minute scrimmage scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

When: Saturday 28 February from 1615
Where: UQ St Lucia, Field 9

We are trying to get confirmation of the field schedule, so watch this space. Once the schedule is finalised, the gameday registration and club team allocation process will be communicated.

While there are a few things still to be confirmed, what is confirmed is the Brisbane Eagles’ Club Sign On Day.

Social indoor is always a massive hit. Open to all ages and skill levels. Come down and join the fun - bring the whole family.

It's fun, friendly, no-contact lacrosse. There's something for all skill levels - whether you're a pro or just beginning your Olympic lacrosse journey, it never hurts to get a stick in your hand.

🦅🦅 Do you want to get behind the Brisbane Eagles Lacrosse Club?🦅🦅

The Eagles are a proud local sports club, representing a developing sport in Queensland. Our club has had representatives participate at every level - Local league, National tournaments, and International competitions.

🥍 Lacrosse has been added to the list of events at the LA2028 Olympics and were anticipating the growth of the sport to continue to soar! 🥍

This year we were able to host the first Women’s Lacrosse Clinic in QLD. The Eagles’ Game Changers Women’s Lacrosse Clinic was a massive hit! We provided a weekend full of lacrosse, delivered by Australian Lacrosse Legends. It saw attendees from all over the country pitch up and it was only possible through donations and sponsorships.

We have big plans for next year; more clinics, more opportunities, and junior engagement. Our club committee and volunteers are actively trying to match the interest and excitement for this sport (that we love so much) in the community.

Hey Legends 🥍

‼️‼️The stage was set for yesterday to be an excellent day for grand finals. The Sunshine State stayed true to its name and gave us blue skies and perfect September sun.

💥💥Both sides bought their supporters, the gameday volunteers were in force, and Team Zebra were in the new officials drip and supported by an Australian Sixes Official Legend who made the trip interstate for the GF weekend.

Heading into the QLL Sixes Women’s Grand Final, our Eagles were 2-3 and short a few players. UQ came in with the momentum from last week’s dominating win and our Eagles were going to need to pull together to take the trophy.

The Eagles played a solid first half, winning 6 contested groundballs and forcing 3 turnovers, keeping them in the fight. The team went into the half-time break trailing 5-6 but their spirits were high and the game certainly wasn’t over.

The hustle amplified in the second half, dominating the third period outscoring the Saints by 3 goals. The Eagles second half counterattack saw a further 5 contested groundball wins and 6 saves from Sammie Friedman in net. The Eagles looked to be in a position to secure the grand final win, but a late surge from UQ saw Elea Barton sink 2 goals late in the fourth period to bring the scores level at 12-12.

A quick break and a coin toss later we were deep in a golden goal situation. Eagles won the draw and had the first offensive set, but the UQ defence pressured a turnover. In our defensive end now, the Eagles’ crash forced a wayward shot from a UQ player and the Eagles were off for another attempt.

A penalty from the UQ defence saw a power play for the Eagles, and the team wasted no time in finding the overlap – where Ryken Tablizo buried the winning goal.
