This year’s audition brought so many talented young dancers into our studio. It was truly inspiring to see so many children challenge themselves and take that next step.

Behind our Elite Program is a great deal of thought, learning and dedication. Zac Fang puts countless hours into developing each level, constantly teaching, learning, reflecting and refining the program to better support our dancers. Meet our dedicated 6YU dancer, Evelyn. 🤍

At this age, every class is about more than learning steps. The way a child is trained, every correction from a teacher, and every detail they are taught will quietly shape the dancer they become.

Strong foundations are built through correct technique, patient guidance, and consistent training. When children learn the right way from the very beginning, they develop healthy habits that will support them for years to come.

What a season! ✨

It has been so wonderful to see more and more of our Just Ballet dancers performing with BCYB each season. Watching them shine with confidence, artistry, and joy makes us incredibly proud.

We also sincerely appreciate Janine’s recognition of our dancers and the training they have received under Mr Zac. It’s always rewarding to see the students’ hard work recognised.

A graduate of the Queensland Ballet Academy Pre-Professional Program, Yasmin has also performed in Queensland Ballet’s Nutcracker and the Candlelight Concert Series.

Yasmin is primarily focused on the continued growth and expansion of our Somerville House Little Frog Ballet Program, while also overseeing many of the key administrative operations at Just Ballet, playing an important role in supporting our students, families, and our growing studio.

We’re proud to have Yasmin as part of the Just Ballet team and look forward to everything we’ll continue to achieve together. 💙

✨ Welcome Catherine Neal to the Just Ballet Team! ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome Catherine to Just Ballet! Catherine will be teaching our Kids Pilates and Elite Body Conditioning programs.

Catherine is a Senior Pilates Instructor with more than 20 years experience and a specialist background in dance conditioning. As the Pilates Instructor for Queensland Ballet, she works as part of the Performance Health team supporting professional dancers, and has extensive experience working with recreational and pre-professional ballet students, helping dancers develop strength, body awareness and movement efficiency while reducing injury risk. Her combination of dance training, Pilates expertise and strength and conditioning knowledge enables her to bridge the gap between artistic performance and evidence-informed physical preparation.

At Just Ballet, we’re committed to providing our students with the highest quality training and the very best teaching team. Every decision we make is centred around giving our students the strongest possible foundation to thrive.

Due to high demand, we’re opening a new Wednesday Kids Pilates class with Catherine.
