Tough lot the BLGC ladies.

With the alarm set for an early morning rise they packed the clubs into the car and set off in the dwindling tendrils of nighttime gloom to get to the course on time.

Windscreen wipers doing their best to clear a view through the persistent rain, nothing was going to stop them in their quest.

A grimaced acknowledgment to each other as they hurried through the carpark to the safety and warmth of the clubhouse, each one head down and focussed on their determined goal.

Then once everyone was accounted for the battle could start.

The first…….not hole, but bottle of bubbly.

The ladies weren’t going to let a cold wet drizzly day dampen their get together.
