Well that was an interesting start to the season…
It never goes how we expect it to go but this one was a rough start.
We lost the motor in the S14 and set the Cefiro on fire all before the battles started on Saturday for the first round of Drift Collective… Yup.
Feeling incredibly defeated we decided to pack everything up and it wasn’t until about 8am the next morning I was convinced by my girlfriend to just take another look at the Cefiro.
And sure enough, With the help of my amazing team we had the engine loom put back together with electrical tape, a redbull can cable tied around my head drain and all of the safetys in the ecu turned off, The Ceffy was back.
We had to fight a pretty harsh throttle cut that kept me from using 100% throttle but we still managed to put the thing into 5th place 💪
This sport absolutely pi**es me off but I do love it. It’s hard to not just throw it all away sometimes but being picked back up by the people around me makes me want to never give it up ❤️
As always, A massive thankyou to everyone at the track that lent a hand while we were in the wars but most importantly, Thankyou to Nan and Pa for backing me all the way no matter what happens. My partner Bec for keeping my head straight all weekend and pushing me to keep going, on top of the other 46 million things you did throughout the weekend and Andrew, Lulu and the kids for following me to every event and supporting me in every way possible, no matter what happens, I know ive got a good team that will do everything they can to keep me going. I love you all ❤️
Well done and thank you to the crew for another awesome weekend 💪
Not 100% sure what is next for us. We have some pretty hurt cars but when has that ever stopped us…
