Had a great weekend at Masters of Mac. First time entering the series. Interesting mix of bikes. Ranging from 150's to a 701 in the limited. Happy with my qualifying. Qualified 5th, first of the 300's. Race one was good, stuck in a bit of traffic but managed to finish 6th. Unfortunately not able to make the 2nd race. I was too eager to get into turn one and underestimated my speed to another rider which led me to hit the back of his bike and lose my front. Thanks to my Helite air vest I was able to complete the weekend. Finished off today's two races in 6th place, track declared wet. Overall 2 out of 3 races I was the first 300 to cross the line with only big bikes in front. Was a good learning experience up against the bigger bikes and learning how to out maneuver them in the corners. Had some great battles. Definitely one of my favourite tracks to run.
