Kangaroos/Academy Trials

Boys U9/U10/U11 & U12, Girls U12/U14/U15
We are pleased to announce dates for the Mount Eliza Soccer Club 2022 Kangaroos / Academy trials. The levels are Joeys (little or no playing experience), Wallabies (intermediate experience) and Kangaroos (advanced skills). Players selected for our Kangaroo A teams will also be offered a place in our Academy team. The academy was founded to offer advanced players the opportunity to receive an additional night of elite training one night a week over 20 weeks throughout the year under the guidance of Head Academy Coach, Gary Talbot and Goalkeeper Coach, Lee Davis. What a weekend! ❤️🤍

The club would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who turned out across this beautiful sunny weekend for our Presentation Days.

It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces, from our youngest players in the U6s right through to our older teenagers. These days are all about celebrating our players, our teams and our club, and it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the occasion.

A huge thank you also goes to all of our Team Managers, coaches and volunteers who gave up their time to make the weekend such a success. From those arriving at 6:30am to help set up, through to the last people leaving after pack down, your commitment and effort does not go unnoticed.

There were certainly some exhausted bodies by the end of it , but plenty of very happy people too.

Finally, a very special thank you to our Project Manager, Dion Loncar, who organised and coordinated the entire event. Dion, you did a fantastic job putting everything together and ensuring the weekend ran so smoothly.

It was a huge effort from so many people, and the result was a fantastic weekend for our players and families.

Thank you to everyone who played their part. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

We have a huge weekend of activity coming up with our Senior Metropolitan Women and 3 of our Junior Girls teams U15C, U15A and U16C all competing in their Grand Finals!
3 of the games at happening at the Home of the Matilda’s, so if you’re team has attended their Presentation Day slot at home, jump in the car and get around them!
We also have 3 of our Junior Boys teams playing in their Semi Finals across the weekend - U12D, U12C and U14C

WHAT A SEASON for our WOMEN & GIRLS ❤️🤍

There is so much to celebrate across our Women & Girls program at Mount Eliza Soccer Club.

A huge congratulations to our 2026 League Winners:

🏆 U15C White
🏆 U15A Red
🏆 U16C Red
🏆 Metro Senior Women (U17)

These teams have shown incredible grit, determination and teamwork throughout the season, working through injuries, player availability and plenty of challenges together.

All 4 teams now play for Championships this Sunday, so let’s get behind them and celebrate what has already been an incredible season.

Our congratulations extend across the entire program; from our U6 Little Lizards through to our Senior Women State League.

From our youngest Little Lizards to our U7 through U11 MiniRoos, it’s been a season of growth, friendship and skill-building. Every team has built through its own resilience and love for the game and 2027 is shaping up to be more development and fun.

Our U12B girls, stepping up into juniors, have embraced the challenges of the season and building a strong foundation for the future.

Our U13 girls and U18 girls both finished LEAGUE RUNNERS-UP, showing commitment, maturity and teamwork throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of the U18 group as they look towards the next step into Senior football.

And our Senior Women’s SL5 team has shown determination, character and plenty of community spirit; with a few trivia nights along the way.

Community is the key, and MESC is building something special in the Women & Girls space on and off the pitch.

Thank you to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer, parent and supporter who has played a part in this season.

Congratulations to all our Women & Girls teams on season 2026, and good luck to our four Championship teams this Sunday.
