Kangaroos/Academy Trials

Boys U9/U10/U11 & U12, Girls U12/U14/U15
We are pleased to announce dates for the Mount Eliza Soccer Club 2022 Kangaroos / Academy trials. Kangaroos is the highest level of the 3 Football Victoria playing levels. The levels are Joeys (little or no playing experience), Wallabies (in

termediate experience) and Kangaroos (advanced skills). Players selected for our Kangaroo A teams will also be offered a place in our Academy team. The academy was founded to offer advanced players the opportunity to receive an additional night of elite training one night a week over 20 weeks throughout the year under the guidance of Head Academy Coach, Gary Talbot and Goalkeeper Coach, Lee Davis. ⚽️ JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ⚽️
These holidays, our Technical Director, Kerry Recchia, will be facilitating a European Academy Football Camp.

A football learning experience inspired by some of Europe’s leading academies.

Players will rotate through academy-style coaching stations focused on technical development, decision-making, game awareness and confidence.

In one day, players will be exposed to more individual technical coaching topics than they would typically experience during several weeks of regular team training.

Good morning!

🧠💬 As a club, we recognise the importance of player wellbeing, both mental and physical, strong team connections and creating a culture where everyone feels supported.

That’s why we’re partnering with Speak & Share to offer a FREE workshop for players U15 – Seniors, focused on building stronger connections on and off the field.

We have limited places remaining next week, but would love demand to push us to facilitate more!
