Located in the heart of South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, the Mount Compass Golf Course and residential development is an easy 45 minute drive from Adelaide CBD. With a DSR of 72 the course offers a challenge to golfers of all grades. The Mount Compass Golf Course also boasts world class facilities including a huge driving range with mats and ball hire. Other practice facilities include; putti

ng, chipping green, and sand bunkers. The Range Restaurant resides on the top floor, and features an excellent menu and friendly dining experience. The Pro Shop is open 7 days and has 20 motorised carts, buggies and golf clubs for hire as well as a complete range of equipment, clothing and repair service. 🌤️ Great Weather for Golf This Week!

The forecast is looking fantastic from midweek right through to the weekend. Expect mild mornings, comfortable afternoons, and plenty of sunshine on the course.

With temperatures sitting in the low to mid 20s and mostly partly cloudy to sunny skies, it’s shaping up to be perfect golfing weather.

Course Update

Today’s rainfall (currently sitting at approximately 10mm) is a welcome addition and will greatly assist in keeping the course looking its absolute best.

Tomorrow we will be applying fertiliser to the greens to give them a much-needed boost, following the recent repairs completed on our sprayer. This will help maintain healthy, consistent turf across all putting surfaces.

A growth regulator will also be applied to the greens. This treatment encourages the turf to grow more horizontally rather than vertically, helping create a smoother surface and allowing for a quicker, more consistent roll.

Throughout the week we will be trimming around sprinklers and tee stones. This will clearly highlight their locations while also ensuring they remain neat, tidy, and functioning at their full potential.

We will also continue spraying weeds in bunkers to stay on top of any growth and keep them in excellent condition.

As always, general course maintenance will be carried out to ensure everything is presented exactly as it should be.
