KURTIS MARSCHALL HAS JUMPED 6 METRES IN FRANCE.

Former VenuesWest Brand Ambassador Kurtis Marschall is now the 4th Australian ever to clear 6m in pole vault, doing so on his first attempt at the All Star Perche in Clermont-Ferrand on Sunday.

A massive congratulations Kurtis, you are in truly elite company. 👏

VenuesWest Brand Ambassador and Decathlete Jack Whiteside competes in 10 different track and field disciplines over a two‑day event, so it’s fair to say he gets plenty of use out of the WA Athletics Stadium!

On competition days, Jack says the atmosphere in the stadium is always electric which helps him perform at his absolute best.

Road closures are in place on 7 and 8 January for the Road Cycling Nationals in Mount Claremont.

To access Athletics Stadium, we recommend you access via Underwood Ave at the Bendat Basketball Centre entrance, however some lanes are closed and traffic management is in place, so you must allow extra time for travel.

WAAS will be closed to the public on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November for various events being held this weekend.

Please plan ahead and allow extra time if you’re visiting the precinct, as traffic and parking will be busier than usual.
