It is with great sadness we advise Pussinboots will not be competing in TT30 despite initial entry. The rule changes as they applied to
Competitors who use stage notes when competing having to complete a recce of every stage prior to the event ( confirmed in writing by Targa as applying to all classes even TSD ) ruled us out as We were unable to do that. I will not compete without the notes Bernie Webb writes as they greatly improve safety and have been responsible for us achieving the excellent results we did. Much sadness for us. We will be in Hobart at the finish to see our special Targa friends. Who knows what happens going forwards.

Finally managed to Board the ferry and we left Port Melbourne around 1am and arrived at Devonport at 1130 am. Puss is not that happy to announce we have a new car number 359. After having 129 as our car number for many years we find it has been allocated to a Porsche tour car!!

Well!! Effort this am to get to Scrutineering. Result. FAIL. Got out of the garage and 75 metres down the road before it became apparent this was not a safe exercise when we were at risk of sliding off the road on the way down to the Clock a Tower on the mtn

Well today we took out the ‘Big Black cat’ who cut her teeth on Phillip Island and then was our first serious Targa car after Sammy Stevens used her as a course car in Targa ADELAIDE. Great memories

Well a new challenge for team
Puss in Boots in the sweep car for TSD Great Barrier Reef. Some great roads and even better people to care for. To my surprise we even managed some Angryman photos and a finishers medal. The Holden Equinox took some getting used to but we got there and Puss our masker has a great time socialising a great deal. Thanks everyone.

Well team ‘Puss in Boots’ has an entirely new experience teaching/sharing with newbies in TSD at Targa Great Barrier Reef. Our chase car provided to ‘round up cats’ was a Holden equinox that soon became known as ‘the jumping kangaroo’ owing to the way it went round cnrs or did not as the case may be. The most amazing understeer ever and and virtually no uphill acceleration at all. Despite this Christopher Waldock got the hang of it after day one. The time we spent with great friends was excellent. Thank you Darryl Marshall, Peter Marshall, Steve and Heather Brumby, Linda, Samantha Winter and Gail Absolon finally.
Then there was baby Mabel
Marshall who introduced team mascot Puss to his new girlfriend.
We thank Targa for allowing us to do this important role
