Come down to the Mount Beauty United Cricket Club, home of the mighty Power. With 3 senior teams, 2 playing on turf, on Saturdays and 1 (hopefully 2) U/12s team playing on Fridays, all games are one-dayers - there’s a team for everyone.
Enjoy playing at the beautiful Mount Beauty Recreation Reserve or Les Peart Oval, also home to the District Cricket’s best pavilion
You may even get to experience a game with club legends Kevin Moorman and Frank Iaria!

The 2026/27 season is just around the corner, and there’s plenty to be excited about at Mount Beauty United Cricket Club!

With new coaching staff, new leadership, new nets and plenty more exciting things happening behind the scenes, we’re looking forward to building something special this season.

Our focus is on creating a great club environment, getting more out of our training sessions, developing our players and, most importantly, making sure everyone enjoys being part of MBUCC.

Training kicks off this Sunday, 13th September at 10am! 🏏

Whether you’re a returning player, new to the club or thinking about getting back into cricket — come down, get involved and be part of the season ahead!

We’re excited to announce our First XI leadership team for the 2026/27 season!

Nick Iaria– Captain
Nick steps into the captaincy this season. An aggressive batsman who takes the game on, Nick brings plenty of intent and a fearless approach to his cricket. We’re looking forward to seeing him lead from the front and set the tone for the First XI.

Greg McLennan – Vice Captain
After leading the side as captain, Greg steps into the Vice Captain role. His experience, cricket knowledge and leadership will be a huge asset to Nick and the team throughout the season.

A big thank you to Greg for his time as captain, and congratulations to Nick on taking the reins. We’re excited to see what this leadership group can achieve in 2026/27!

We’re thrilled to announce that Ethan Brown and Shannon Carter have committed to the Mount Beauty Power for the 2026/27 season!

In a time when loyalty in local sport can be hard to find, Ethan and Shannon are what you’d call true one-club players — and that is something incredibly special.

They have always put the club first and the team first. Both are leaders on and off the field, setting the standard through their commitment, attitude and willingness to do whatever is needed for the team. 🏏

And they’ve both tasted premiership success in the green and gold, helping bring flags home to the Power. 🏆

Their value goes well beyond runs, wickets and results. They represent what it means to be a Mount Beauty Power player — loyalty, leadership, selflessness and pride in the jumper.

We’re incredibly proud to have two genuine one-club players continuing their journey with the Power. ⚡️

🏏⚡CRICKET AND FUN WERE THE WINNERS⚡🏏

Kids and teaching crew at Mount Beauty Primary School had a fun Friday of cricket games today. The Sarsaparilla, Artichoke, Mango, and Strawberry teams all showed great catching and hitting skills, in exercises enthusiastically run by gurus Peter and Nick from Cricket Victoria. Hopefully Hendo and Cowboy managed to convince a few of the youngsters to join the Power Junior and Blast Programs after the September school holidays.

Many thanks to Dave, Kath, Steph, Kim, Bron, Michelle, and the rest of the team at MBPS for supporting our first Come and Try event for the Spring.

We’re excited to welcome Jacob Jordan to Mount Beauty United Cricket Club for the 2026/27 season! 🏏

Jacob joins us from Burnopfield Cricket Club in Newcastle, England, bringing plenty of quality with the ball as an off-spin bowler, along with great energy and enthusiasm in the field.

We’re looking forward to seeing Jacob get out on the park, get amongst the group and show us what he can offer! 🔥

🏏 NEW SIGNING — MARLEY SMITH 💚💛

The Power are thrilled to welcome Marley Smith to Mount Beauty for the 2026/27 season!

Standing at a handy 6’6”, Marley is a quick opening seam bowler joining us from London, England, where he currently plays for Wanstead & Snaresbrook Cricket Club.

Marley brings plenty of pace, height and, most importantly, a wealth of cricket knowledge to our club. We’re looking forward to seeing him in the green and gold and watching him lead the attack this season.
