Mount Beauty Dragon Boat Club is Training on Sunday 8.45am-10.30am and Wednesday 5.45pm -7pm 2023-24 season training starting on Sunday 17 September.

What a great Adventure Week
Come and Try Event today. We had heaps of fun in perfect conditions and even had a Tug of War to end the session. Thanks to our new paddlers also our Beechworth friends and our team for making it happen this morning. 😊🐲🚣🏽‍♀️

As part of Adventure Week, locals are invited to come and try dragon boating with Mount Beauty Dragon Boat Club 🐉💙

The club is a long-standing community activity provider offering fun, social paddling sessions on the beautiful Mount Beauty pondage. It’s a great way to build fitness, meet people, and enjoy time on the water — whether you’re completely new or looking to develop a competitive edge.

Paddlers of all levels are welcome, with opportunities available to progress into competitive racing pathways for those interested. The club is inclusive of ages 10 and up, with current members ranging from 14 to 76 years young.

We had 4 of our members compete at Auschamps on the Sunshine Coast this year. Ari competed with the Victorian Junior Team bringing home 3 Bronze medals and with the Beechworth Golden Serpents who we are Secondary member’s of winning 1 Gold in the 1km and 2 Silver medals in the 200 and 500 mtr racing categories and Christine, Monica and Cathy bought home a Bronze in the 2 km mixed 20’s boat It was such a wonderful week of racing for us all 😊🐲🚣🏽‍♀️

This Vic State jacket has returned to Kawana Waters. CJ presented it to Ari at a Raffles night for his dedication to Dragon Boating and being chosen for the State team. CJ competed at Kawana Waters in the Vic Regional Team in 2018 when she got the jacket 😊🐲🚣🏽‍♀️
