✨ WHY ALL GIRLS? ✨

Girls deserve the same opportunity to play, develop, compete and belong, and research shows that the environment we create matters.

Adolescence is a critical period for girls. Physical changes, body image, social pressures and confidence can all influence whether girls continue participating in sport. Research consistently identifies belonging, supportive relationships, confidence and positive sporting environments as important factors in keeping young people engaged in physical activity.

That’s why all girls sport matters.

👯 Confidence & self-belief
Girls-only environments can create space to try, make mistakes, develop and grow without the same social pressures or comparisons.

🤝 Belonging & connection
Being surrounded by teammates and coaches who understand their experiences can build stronger social connections and a sense of belonging.

💪 Resilience & life skills
Sport teaches girls how to communicate, lead, handle setbacks, work as a team and keep going when things get difficult.

❤️ Health & wellbeing
Regular physical activity supports physical health, mental wellbeing and healthy development while creating positive relationships with sport that can last a lifetime.

🌟 Role models & pathways
Girls need to see that there is a place for them at every level, from grassroots participation through to development, performance and senior football.

And we know this isn't just about soccer...
It's about creating environments where girls feel comfortable, capable, connected and confident enough to keep showing up.

A big shout out to our U15s today for making it into the YPL Semi Finals

Today wasnt your day but keep your heads held high and be proud of the season youve had, time to celebrate the season and refocus ahead of an even bigger and better 2027 💪
