Round 9 saw us take on Royals at home, and it was a special one as we celebrated Sophie’s 50th women’s seniors game.
The girls made sure it was a day to remember, putting together a strong team performance to secure a convincing 61–15 win.
It was a fiery contest at times, but our ladies kept their composure and played with real class. The skills on display were a highlight, clean hands, smart ball movement, and strong decision-making right across the ground.
When we moved the ball with intent, we looked dangerous, and it was great to see everyone buying into our style of play.
This win was built on a true team effort. Every player contributed, whether it was through pressure acts, defensive work, or creating opportunities going forward. It’s the kind of performance that shows what we’re capable of when we play for each other.
A special mention to Mikayla Balloch, who finished with 4 goals and continues to build form as the season progresses, a great reward for her hard work.
We were also excited to welcome Belle to the side, who joins us for the remainder of the season from Kojonup. A new nurse in koji and already making her mark, great to have you on board!
