My massive Sacred Sage branches became too heavy after recent rain and the wind from the storm caused some branches to snap 😔 Was hoping to wait until they flowered before cutting back but nature bet me to it. Rather than letting the beautiful big leaves go to waste I've made several chunky smudge sticks ☺️

Yoga teaches us to tune in to our connection to nature....the continual ebbs and flows and impermanence of all natural things.

When we pay attention to how the world around us is evolving, it brings opportunities for us to evolve with it.

When we fail to pay attention, we can find ourselves struggling against the grain, treading water, always trekking uphill.

Through the practice of yoga we can learn to embrace the inevitable ebbs and flows in life with open acceptance. To take the path of least resistance, ultimately leading to greater contentment.

Join me this Saturday as we welcome Autumn with open hearts and minds and take this opportunity to let our dead leaves drop 🍂

When you practice balancing poses in yoga, you focus on
The BREATH
You're in the MOMENT
You are in tune with your BODY
Your MIND is focused.

Balancing in Half Moon, Warrior 3, tree pose, requires a combination of STRENGTH, STILLNESS, CALM and to be free of EGO.
If you fail, you simply smile and try again.

This is a great lesson for creating BALANCE in your LIFE.

Focus on your BREATH
Stay present in the MOMENT
Connect with your BODY
Focus your MIND
Recognise your STRENGTH
Learn to appreciate STILLNESS
Remain CALM
Let go of EGO
