🎉 400,000 Containers and Counting! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Bruce Ferguson, our local collector and community champion, who has reached the incredible milestone of 400,000 containers collected through Containers for Change! 🥤♻️

Bruce’s dedication has not only helped keep thousands of containers out of landfill, but has also made a real difference to local community charity organisations that benefit from his ongoing efforts. His commitment shows how one person can create lasting change through simple, everyday actions.

Day 1 at the 2026 Mossman Show was a fantastic success! 💚 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our Containers for Change stall to have a chat about recycling your 10c containers and learn more about the services available across the Douglas Shire.

It was wonderful meeting so many members of our community who are passionate about making a positive difference for our environment. We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow, so be sure to stop in, say hello, collect your FREE 10c recycling bag and some great giveaways. See you at the show! ♻️
