AGM Reminder

The AGM for the Southern Highlands Senior Rugby League Football Club will be held at the Bowral Bowling Club on Tuesday 15th October at 6.30pm.
Members only will be eligible to attend and vote at the AGM. Membership forms will be available at the Club from 6.00pm.
Nominations for Board positions will be accepted up until the meeting start. Nomination forms will also be available from 6.00pm.

The positive public response to this new venture has been overwhelming, and we would like to thank you all for your support.

As advertised, last night the Senior Rugby League Clubs of Bowral and Moss Vale held Special General Meetings to vote on creating a new Southern Highlands Senior Rugby League Football Club.
This motion was approved, voted unanimously by all Clubs.
The committees of each founding club will act as a steering committee for the new club until office bearers are appointed at the AGM in October.

The Senior Clubs of Bowral and Moss Vale believe now is a great time to follow on the lead of the Junior Clubs in combining resources in forming the Highlands Storm Senior Club.
The overwhelming public support of the new junior club shows that the Highlands community is ready to get behind a single entity.
The colours, logo and basis of the constitution will be the same as the Junior model, ensuring uniformity for players from Under 6’s to through to Grade.
As per previous media releases, this new club will not be based on any previous founding club biases, and is open to all players, volunteers and supporters from right across the Highlands.

A Special General Meeting (SGM) of Moss Vale Senior Rugby League Incorporated (MVSRL) will be held on Monday, September 30th from 6.00pm at Moss Vale Rugby League Club, Community Oval, Donlin Avenue, Moss Vale, 2577.

The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the unanimous decision of the Senior Committee to put the club (MVSRL) into recess and join a new venture called Highlands Senior Rugby League Incorporated for the 2020 season and beyond.

Financial, committee and life members are entitled to vote on this resolution, which the committee believe is in the best interests of the development of rugby league in Moss Vale. Following the merger of Bowral, Moss Vale and Robertson Junior rugby league clubs and the decision that new venture (Southern Highlands Junior Rugby League Incorporated) took on kit design and naming, the new venture will be marketed as "Highlands Storm". Only the aforementioned members have the right to vote on this resolution.
