Hey Kenpo Freestylers, we are up and running on our online Zoom classes. Our first class is tomorrow morning. Please go on to https://ikarate.com.au/ to sign up. Our instructors need your support to get through this difficult time, and we appreciate your help in getting this club through to the other side. The classes are lots of fun and will help the kids burn off all that excess energy during lockdown. Also, in progressing with their belt levels and not losing any momentum toward their goals. Look for your usual instructor from the choices offered on the website. There will also be detailed instructions going out. We are looking forward to seeing you online!

Safety Announcement for Kenpo Freestylers Karate Members

NSW Health have released a three-day restriction set of rules as a proportionate response from the covid case from Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

What does this mean for us?

Classes are still on and will continue with a few minor changes to our existing protocols to make sure we are in line with these 3 day rules and being as safe as possible.

- Parents on site will be restricted for the next 3 days - No one else in the halls or indoors except students and teachers. At Some of our schools we have the options for outdoor learning, this will allow supervision while observing social distancing.

- Students & teachers over 13 years old while indoors will be required to wear a mask for the next 3 days during this alert.

- All existing Covid Safe measures are still in place, with Hand Sanitising regularly, Social distancing and Minimal Contact Classes.

-Any Venues Doing Sparring will likely be put off until the following week and a regular content lesson plan will be put in place to reduce contact between students.

Thanks very much for your support, observing these rules will help us continue as we have been.

Attention all Mosman Kenpo Freestylers!
For our first day back tomorrow (Saturday the 30th Jan) due to circumstances out of our control we have had to take on a last minute venue change!
We will be running class just around the corner at the Mosman Art Gallery Hall, on Gallery Way. Only a short 5 minute trip away. Please see map below for details.

Hey Kenpo Freestylers and karate fans, tomorrow we are trialing our very first day of online virtual lessons for Mona Vale, Mosman & St Ives. We intend on rolling this out for all schools and will let you know how it goes 😁👍 stay tuned.

This isn't just a live stream or a watch screen. This is an interactive feedback full lesson system. A true virtual Dojo and lesson!!

We are super excited about it and in these hard times it may provide us all with some sense of normality in your Dojo .. in your own home, with your instructors.

Important notice to all students: we start a new ten-week term this Friday through next Thursday. Any students who have visited the Wuhan area of China in the last few months must wait two weeks from the time they entered Australia to participate in our classes. This is for the safety of our students, parents, and instructors. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Spring 'BREAK' Camp Update 2019

UPDATE on our Spring BREAK camp! We are in day four today with our intermediate students building their confidence, skills and making new friends! Have a look at some of the action. Just a reminder about our holiday camp this coming Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the 8th, 9th & 10th July at Collaroy Plateau

Drop off between 8 and 8.30 pick up at 4pm

Kata / sparring / sword combat / sumo / self defence tech / games / Tournament Training
