We welcomed the first cohort of Yachtmaster fast track students to the new season today!

Over the next 12-16 weeks this team will become qualified RYA yachtmasters. They’re starting off this week doing dinghy sailing, RYA powerboat level 2, marine first aid and their radio license.

It’s going to be jam-packed but what better place to be doing this course than Sydney!

“I had a great experience on the weekend, doing their 2-day RYA Powerboat Level 2 course.”

The course perfectly balanced theory and practical sessions, with only two or three students per boat, giving us plenty of personal instruction and time behind the wheel.

Douglas made the theory easy to understand, with extensive knowledge of boating, marine procedures and regulations, while Harry provided clear, practical instruction in piloting, navigation and safety.

The course culminated in a supervised passage from Middle Harbour to Watson’s Bay and back in challenging conditions.

A fantastic experience with knowledgeable instructors and plenty of hands-on learning. Highly recommended!" Andy C
