A club that is committed to both female and male development and importantly a club that provides the highest level of football for senior women and men across the region.

A club that’s new, yet has 60 years of history.

Last weekend Latrobe held our presentation weekend away where we went to Coonawarra Farm Resort. To change things up a bit it was great success and fun times had by all players and families

Winners of all awards are in pics and a massive congrats to all as they thoroughly deserved there accolades.

As last Latrobe presentation we look forward to our new challenge of becoming part of our new “one club” when we merge with Warragul United Soccer Club and Gippsland FC. Here’s to a better future for female football in our own backyard

Latrobe United WFC are excited to be working with GippSport Community Solutions, Gippsland FC and Warragul United Soccer Club on the “One Club” concept!

Gippsland Football Club, Latrobe United Women’s Football Club and Warragul United Soccer Club are working together to explore the possibility of amalgamating as a single entity.

The concept – informally titled the ‘One Club Project’ – proposes the formation of a combined club aimed at developing and facilitating talent, streamlining administration, championing women and girls’ football and growing participation in football in Gippsland. The intention is to retain the current junior NPL and State League status.

The jointly funded project has been commissioned by the three clubs following approval from the respective club committees and a working group has been formed.

GippSport Community Solutions has been engaged to deliver an independent process, with key stakeholder engagement and consultation set to commence in the coming weeks.

The three clubs wish to reiterate that a decision to amalgamate has not been made, merely a commitment to undertake a formal process to explore the concept and the opportunities it presents.

This process will include consultation with governing body Football Victoria.

Looking forward to working with GippSport, Warragul United SC and Gippsland FC to see what the future may bring.
