The Latrobe Valley Scuba Club is an extremely active and vibrant community based Diving Club with a history dating back to 1960. The club is located in McDonald Street Morwell, right next door to the Morwell Leisure Centre. Meetings are held in the clubrooms on the last Thursday of each month beginning at 8:00 PM except for December and January when social events are held instead. Many interesting
guest speakers are organised to entertain and inform the members on a wide range of topics. Regular dive trips are organised, the latest include: trips to Montagu Island in Narooma, the spectacular tugs at Eden, Wilson's Promontory, Port Campbell and Port Phillip Bay. Club Membership entitles you to many privileges, including: FREE air fills, monthly magazine etc. The Latrobe Valley Scuba Club promotes a family culture where we cater for families during our trips away with family activities included on most dive trips. Dive trips are organised by Dive Trip Coordinator Rob Timmers. The Club publishes a monthly magazine "Latrobe Valley Scuba News" and you can join as a magazine member if you are too remote to regularly attend our events. This can be sent via ordinary post or email.
