2. TAFE NSW Moruya Campus, is running an Aboriginal Women’s Home Independence Program. Running over 8 weeks, every Thursday and Friday commencing in October, this hands on program will provide participants with practical skills, increased confidence and valuable connections with other women in the community. Participants will learn:
Basic property improvements, simple home repairs and maintenance, basic carpentry and handywoman skills, how to tackle everyday jobs around the home yourself, how to use hand and power tools safely and confidently.
