Huge congratulations to Laurie on a great performance at the Special Olympics swim competition in Parramatta last weekend.

Laurie put together a strong swim in the 100m freestyle, finishing in 1:47.08, and backed it up with a fantastic 2nd place in the 50m freestyle with a time of 42.78.

A brilliant effort all round - the hard work in the pool is really showing.

We’re all stoked for you, Laurie, and can’t wait to cheer you on later this year as you represent NSW at the National Games. πŸ’™πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

Good luck Xavier!! This is a fantastic achievement that you have worked incredibly hard for. And a shout out to Coach Riley and all our squad coaches, we are lucky to have you!

πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ Swim Squad Update πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

We’d like to wish Xavier M the very best of luck next week as he competes at the Australian Age Swimming Championships on the Gold Coast!

This is the highest level of age group swimming in Australia, and we couldn’t be prouder to see Xavier representing our squad and competing against the best young athletes in the country.

This achievement is a testament to the calibre of our squad program. A huge thank you to Coaches Riley and Jet for their dedication, guidance, and those early mornings that help make opportunities like this possible πŸ‘

With Coach Riley heading away with Xavier over the next couple of weeks,
Coach Jet will be running the majority of sessions, however, there will be no squad at Narooma on Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 April. On those days, squad training will still be available at the Bay Pavilions.

Best of luck Xavier πŸ’ͺ
